Delete your account

You can permanently delete your FounderCircle account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here’s how.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

  1. Open FounderCircle on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This kicks off deletion immediately. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your data has been removed.

Option 2 — Email us

If you can’t access the app, email support@foundercircle.app from the address tied to your FounderCircle account with the subject line “Account deletion request”.

We’ll verify ownership and process the deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, username, and avatar.
  • Your messages, posts, and media uploaded to FounderCircle.
  • Your contacts, circles, and any saved preferences.
  • Authentication records tied to your account.

What may be retained

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion event (timestamp and hashed account ID), abuse reports filed against the account, and any data we are legally required to keep (e.g. for tax, fraud-prevention, or law-enforcement compliance). These records are kept only for as long as necessary and are never used for marketing.
